Strange problem with Borland Newsgroups
I am suddenly having problems accessing the Borland News Server directly
in my newsreader at work. Strangely enough, I can access some of
the Borland newsgroups by subscribing via my ISP's news server (Cavtel)
but only a small subset of the Borland groups are available by that
route. I don't seem to be having any trouble with other news servers I
am subscribed to.
On my home machine, I am not having any problems accessing
newsgroups.borland.com directly (ISP=Comcast). I am using Thunderbird
as the newsreader at both locations.
On my office machine, I noticed that in the last couple of weeks, I
would get intermittent "can't connect to Borland News Server" messages
but later it would work. But now - nothing works from the connection to
Borland.
Has anybody run into this problem or is it just me?
