Seriously, would you advice any new entrant into IT to focus on >Pascal ?
No Pascal, Object Pascal.
OK, lets get real. I suggest learn Object Pascal, and continue with one of: Java, C++ or C#.
I wouldn't recommend anybody to learn programming in a case-sensistive language like the last three...
When I went to collegue, my C++ teacher never taught me pointers. I actually learn pointer and dynamic memory with...
....Object Pascal (Turbo Pascal 6) !!!
The same goes for Object Oriented Programming.
Market currently forces to work with C's offspring: C+, Java, C#
