It has been speculated that Vista's last day before going gold is Oct 26th and who knows if another build or a RC2 will be released. However it does seem more and more certain that it will RTM in Nov.
Scary... 64bit RC1 still blue screened during install (before even copying anything to the HD...) on one of our test machines (that otherwise runs XP64 without trouble), and 32bit RC1 demonstrated "solid freeze" features with AeroGlass on and the latest nVidia drivers on another machine...
Brave testers needed certainly, but it's a brave product manager if RTM happens so soon, or maybe it's the WinMe product manager at work again?
