Exactly why they should not annouce "Should announce something x". Stop
feeding us things like this. This all leads to rumors and by the time
it gets there its all the worse and only further undermines the publics
trust.

It would be better simply to say "We dont have a time frame for x", esp
since we are down to x and started somewhere higher in the alphabet.

Doubt it? Go back and look at the announcement, and worse yet newsgroup
postings when this all started in Jan? Then look at today.
