Frankly: how can you judge .Net development when you only know one of the IMO worst .Net languages?
While being a Delphi32 developer, who really likes that language and advocates its usage over other tools like (cough) VB, I am embarrassed by the extend in which Delphi.Net sucks.
Most other serious .Net languages do not, btw. ;-)
