Re: I really hate .NET especially inside Delphi

What does a cursor really offer

It offers me the ability to easily navigate around the dataset, and it
offers me the concept of a "Current record". If cursors are worthless,
or not needed, why is there a CurrencyManager?

Would you be struck dead by lightening if you actually admitted that
ADO.NET isn't perfect, and that the VCL has a feature that ADO.NET
could benefit from? I don't think so, but perhaps there is something
about the chip that MS implants in your head that I don't know about.
