We don't "act" on "demands", Simon. We consider input from /many/
sources in determining what course to take.

Simon -- you chose a course. You could have chosen a different course.

Nick, in direct comparsion, without implying that you are working
on unannounced changes to the communicated roadmap - which roadmap do
you think is better for DevCo and your customers - your current
public one, or the one I've proposed?

I think that you have a limited view of things, and that you've made
some reasonable points based on that limite view.I think that we are
constantly re-evaluating our roadmap based on customer input. I think
that you provided valuable information that will become part of all the
input we get. I think that the course we ultimately take will be based
on what you and others have said here, as well as a lot of other input
from many other customers and from many other sources. I think that
the decision making process has quite a bit more factors involved with
it than the people here are aware of.
