About .NET strategy

Wouldn't it be better to focus on C# Builder instead of putting all those
resources into building a Delphi for .NET compiler?
What are the advantages of using Delphi.NET over C# for new projcects?
To me it seems that using C# has too many advantages on the .NET platform.
Availability of developers, resources, documentation first spring to mind.
Also the open nature of the language. Parts of it are standardized, after
all.
If DevCo could focus those resources on C#Builder, they probably could beat
MS on the IDE front and maybe even win a few VS developers along the way. I
feel that providing a better IDE for C# than MS would make more sense than
pouring all those resources in a separate compiler. IntelliJ for example
still seems to be doing fine in the Java world by providing a better IDE
than anyone else. In my opinion a strategy like that would probably also
work for DevCo.
So what would be good reason to use Delphi.NET over C# for new projects?
