Huh? It is very clear that Vista is only a subset of what was planned for Longhorn, it took five years from the release of XP and the deadline was postponed a number of times. I don't think it is unfair to say *something* went wrong along the way.
I think wiith the new modeling features in Visual Studio 2005 it was quite
important to include Together Support in BDS2006. Also, IIRC ECO
needs modeling functionality to work.
That's a completely different question. I don't know if it ever was an option, but Modelmaker was bundled with Delphi 7, and in retrospect one might ask if that would have been a better alternative, than to port Together from Java to J# and spend five releases of the BDS IDE to solve all issues with that integration. Don't ask me.
