Not at all.
For all I know of this blog and its plastered agenda, it could well have been something planned from the beginning. Fake turn-abouts are a good old hyping classic.

Nope, last time I checked, I wasn't maintaining a review site, nor a even blog for that matter ^_^

Of course. But there is IMO a step between argumenting in a newsgroup, which is IMO a bit like argumenting around a beer, ie. informal and staged for fast obsolescence and irrelevance, and establishing a website/blog in your name to somehow officialize a crusade there. :)
