So you didn't find his turn-about amusing?

Not at all.

Sorry 'bout that, I thought his overblown enthusiasm was rather amusing.

For all I know of this blog and its plastered agenda, it could well have been something planned from the beginning. Fake turn-abouts are a good old hyping classic.

Well you can read about Sam Gentile here, IMO he doesn't sound like the kind who would fake a turn-about just to hype Vista but what do I know about fakes. :)

And who would be these trustable review sites, do you count yourself as one

Nope, last time I checked, I wasn't maintaining a review site, nor a even blog for that matter ^_^

OK so you don't count yourself, but that still begs the question of where am I to go to find those trustable review sites you suggest I should use to get reliable information?

Of course. But there is IMO a step between argumenting in a newsgroup, which is IMO a bit like argumenting around a beer, ie. informal and staged for fast obsolescence and irrelevance, and establishing a website/blog in your name to somehow officialize a crusade there. :)

Does that mean you will forgive me when in the future I start augmenting on this newsgroup in such a manner that you disagree? Now even you must admit that would be amusing. ;-)
