Are you still good with your prediction of 20% reductions?
By what time? Middle or end of 2007?
Anders, do you have enough inside information to arbitrate
this bet?
I've heard the number ~200 employees.
Which brings up the question, are we talking about overall
or just R&D?
And finally, what are the stakes?
A case of your favorite beverage? Delivered?
Or a round of drinks at the next conference?
At least 20% staff reductions at CodeGear, overall, by the middle of 2007.
If there are 20% reductions by July 1, 2007, you win.
If there are 0% reductions, or an increase, by July 1, 2007, I win.
If there are reductions, but not 20%, then it is a draw.
We need to check with Anders when would be the easiest
time to define a starting point. Do they know now exactly
which and how many employees CG will have? Or should we
start when CG prints it first paycheck?
And it turns out to be very difficult to ship
beverages across international borders. So we need to settle on some
different
terms than a case of beer.
Well, the relevancy of that will be determined by
who gets involved in the bet.
You won't have to ship over an international
borders to get it to me, anyway.
Actually, come to think of it, my favorite drink is
CocaCola from Mexico. They still use the original
formula.
