Here's an idea for a device I'd like to have:
a simple lightweight tablet with good touch screen
without HDD (!) with simple cheap CPU, hi speed WiFi,
If you look around, you can find a number of WinCE based tablets that might
be suitable for this task. I have a sharp pv-6000 tablet which is a bit
older (256 color screen, no sound, could never get wifi card to work with
it), but I used to run terminal services on it well enough.
