A useful device

Here's an idea for a device I'd like to have:
a simple lightweight tablet with good touch screen
without HDD (!) with simple cheap CPU, hi speed WiFi,
Video and Audio cards (integrated) and with little RAM.
the only program it should run is ala-VNC over
mini bsd core, right from BIOS. No OS or desktop of its own.
All I need it to do is be able to connect to any of
nearby PC to share screen or login into. Something
like terminal client.
The advantage of this thing is:
1. Lightweight, can carry around the house or office
2. No need to upgrade or setup it EVER!
3. Can do everything without limitations (limited by
WiFi speed, hope that will increase soon)
4. No need to purchase any additional software licenses
or anything like that.
5. Will have longer battery life, cause no HDD, no
high end graphic card, no ultra-fast processor, etc.
This, of course, is no good for serious work, but
to go read your e-mails while in the kitchen or watch
movie or show friends photos or... outline design
while laying in a bad...
I'd probably buy something like that for ~$500.
Michael
