The problem with programming is, well, programmers. See the thread Delphi
Rocks! in b.p.o.t. to see why programmers should not be allowed to roam any
freeer than other workers. Sure, a tiny minority of welders can raise their
profession to an art form, but all the others need to be supervised and
follow precise templates. Programmers are no different in this respect than
factory floor workers.
