I've not been daunted, and I still manage to invent things that turn
out to be ridiculous, but sometimes I will create something that works.

I guess I'm asking to hear from others that have come up with bright
ideas, to admit their failure, and tell us what, why and how.
Will you share the gory details with us?
Yes, A few of us created binary web programming library called Pascal Server
Pages or Powerful Web Utilities and hoped that a bunch of delphi developers
would come flying in magically and port most of our freepascal work over to
Delphi and Kylix. The reality is most people are too lazy to compile web
programs and they just use PHP, since you can just upload the script and check
for errors in your web browser.
