What complete rubbish!

Rewriting tens of millions of lines of code? Crap!! Microsoft have made it
clear that they will continue to support W32 for the forseeable future -
it's there on their Website for all to see.

Microsoft aren't rewriting their own flagship products either. What would
be the point? You don't have to program in .NET to enjoy the benefits of
WPF.

In fact, as far as I can see there is not one single assertion - starting
with "programmers are panicking" - that bears the slightest scrutiny.

It pisses me off that people like him and his company get paid loads of
money for drivel like this. It also pisses me off that the great majority
of people (apart from the techies who actually KNOW) will believe him and
start panicking accordingly.
