ISTM, this is not a good ongoing practice for CodeGear. Is there
something in the works to address this?

Since I had the exact same problem as Tom Birch I thought I would reply to
this. This problem is/has been addressed from the very first day SA was
purchased. My SA expired on 12/21/06. I looked up my email from Borland
acknowledging the purchase. In the email is a contact email address for
support. I simply sent an email to this address and the situation was
resolved immediately and a quote for renewal was sent. Although Nick's
offer to be a go between is extremely nice and speaks volumns for customer
service it is/was not required.
