It is difficult to tell - there seems to be some differences of opinion.
Without any official technical comment by CodeGear developers on the
validity of each of the workarounds, particularly with reference to any
unexpected side-effects, I'm not prepared to take that risk.

Hotfixes that have been QA'd by CodeGear are risky enough. I greatly
welcome the 3rd party reports of workarounds as a way of being advised what
may or may not be an issue. I truly appreciate the efforts of those
volunteers but I only implement such workarounds as a desperate last resort.
