Actually Vista was released in late Nov to the business market and there
has been no changes made in the Jan 30th release to the consumer market.
Microsoft made it very plain before the Nov release that it would be the
same as the Jan 30th release so anyone who really wants to test against
the final release has already lost two months.
True. Actually most of my development was done against RC1 and that has
proven in retrospect to have been a good move. Delays in availability of
fully-capable soundcard drivers have been a major bugbear though.
However, I'm doing final testing against the Home SKU as that is the one
that the majority of my end-users will have. I guess the two years that I
spent in Missouri ('the show-me state') had a lasting effect on me ;-)
