Look in the ICS zip files, there are ready-made examples for such
things.
I would be interested in this also. I have an application that has to
copy database files from a central server to the workstation. What I
did to do this currently is embed the ICS Web server in my server app
and had the home directory pointing to the data folder and had it allow
directory list from the web server. This way when I hit the embeded
webserver I get a full list of files in that folder. Then in the client
app you can get the page, parse it and then just pull down each file. I
actually don't parse the page, I keep all the filenames in a table and
then use tmswebcopy to pull the files from the embeded web server.
Is this the best way to do it, I am sure not, but it worked in a pinch.
I would much prefer to have what you are asking for. FYI FTP would not
work because of the sites my app is installed in.
