Had it been 5 years ago - no doubt. Nowadays I think this technology is
dated, if not outdated.
Dos is more dated and still in Vista.
With HTML help you can easily configure a lot of features and easily
add custom welcome pages etc.
Probably. It probably is also a great kitchen sink. I simply don't care,
since unnecessarily removing winhelp (a few MBs) forces me to revisit,
convert my help system generation, buy/upgrade my tools (and worse, invest
time in them to learn them), rewrite custom tools and scritps, and I have no
interest in custom welcome page. I don't mind them adding 17 formats that
are nicer, just leave massively used ones in.
But I think it will be back in SP1 :-)
