Sorry to hear that. Works great for me and the developers I work with and the people I know that run it. To each their own I guess.
I do not tell that it does not work, well except for parts with
soundcard and installation thing when it would hang without
any report (that makes for great first time user experience).
It is just that after playing with it i think that
upgrade isn't worth a penny for me and for what I do
with computers.
That's why I said to each their own. I personally appreciate most of the new features. You keep saying its "just a bunch of new shiny buttons". First, even if that's all it was, I personally use my computer all the time and welcome anything that looks a little nicer. I personally didn't have to upgrade a single thing to get it to run nicely either. Like I said, to each their own. Different people appreciate different things.
