Re: Anyone know where I can buy the Turbo Pro Upgrade reliably?

Good question...
I was thinking of ordering the Turbo Delphi Pro just to save myself the
hassels.

I ordered the BDS 2006 Pro Full-version Twin Pack a month ago and was sent
the upgrade for the twin pack... twice in a row... it was a SKU error on
digitalrivers behalf or someone. Took 2 months to finally get the right
product. So I am sure others must have had this problem too?

I wish I could get $150 off on the Turbo Delphi win32 Pro... without the
hassel of getting a free download first.

Small rant...

For the last 2 months Borland (or CodeGear) has had a deal ($150 off the
full price) for all of their Explorer -> Pro upgrade SKUs. Fantastic!
Except until a few days ago you were not able to select the Win32 version
as it wasn't listed on the upgrade page.

Monday I checked again and the product is listed, yay! So Monday morning I
happily plug in my CC numbers to get my upgrade key. I receive a
confirmation message from DigitalRiver shortly after that I can login with
my order number and download. I do so, and the order page says "PLEASE
CLICK ON THE PRODUCT NAME TO DOWNLOAD..." but there is no link available.
I call support and they say "Hmm..this isn't right, let's cancel this
order and create a new one". Okay, so from their side they create a new
order only this time accidentally got the SKU wrong and created an order
for the .NET version. Still, the product and/or key is not available. So,
she informs me that she will cancel the second incorrect SKU order and
escalate this with support. Today I'm looking through our bank statement
and we have been charged for both orders and still have no product. When I
call in today, they send me a new cancellation form for the second .NET
order (which I complete and send) so hopefully that will get wiped
shortly. But at the same time they inform me that not being able to
receive the product or key is a "known issue" and there is no timeline
available for a resolution.

Since Borland is having problems selling and distributing their own
products, does anyone know of a 3rd party vendor where I can reliably
order, pay for and receive the Turbo Delphi (for Win32) Upgrade from
Explorer?

Thanks for the help...
