Hi Steve,

From what I understand the Turbos are aimed at home developers
and hobbyists, and the BDS/D2007 line at professional software
developers. That fact that there isn't an upgrade path makes
perfect sense, since it's unlikely that a hobbyist is going to go
pro. Since the prices are comparable, even if not exactly the
same, between the BDS Pro and Turbo Pro, you are free to
pick either one depending on your needs.

Larry, If was clearly stated from start what turbo PRO stands for, you were
right.

The problem is, Turbo Pro was always strictly compared with a single
personality of BDS Pro.

Now, a few weeks after selling a very interesting upgrade from Turbo
Explorer to Turbo Pro (a good move to collect more fresh customers,
particularly from micro-ISV), and after releasing what appears exactly like
an upgrade of Turbo Pro Win32, seems no more the case.

Not a clever move, IMHO. On the contrary, a very good move to upset new
customers.
