Re: The Delphi Brand

Hi,

Well, I personally agree just because it will help Delphi the language to be
mentioned more, but rename it or move away from the Delphi we know and its
origins, thats a no no. Borland development aka CodeGear is alive thanks in
a big part to Delphi and its AWESOME community, so we are not changing
things now and switch attention from the top guy. Lets support the other
products, but lets remember who's daddy. ;)

As a side note we should support Intraweb, we need more third party
components running on this masterpiece, TMSSoftware is doing a great job,
but we need to keep supporting it. Having the chance of using
ClientDatasets, DataModules and all the rest of our VCL goodies with the
Delphi syntax and inside our IDE is the greatest thing ever.

CodeGear is already doing great by making them an integral part of Delphi,
now we as Delphi developers should support them and if possible extend with
components and add-ons to it.

Pst. Great post Don Dennis.
