My 2 cents:
Every Delphi programmer who wanted ASP.NET has done so, but didn't choose
Delphi because it didn't support .NET 2.0. With all .NET enthousiast gone,
the people left are either not interested in .NET or use other platforms
(like PHP). CodeGear like them to stay their customers and offer PHP now. By
coupling the Delphi name to the product they show "see... it is a very
familiar environment".
