I know that both are interested.

The small amount of messages (and CodeGear
replies) in the specific delphi.opentoolsapi ng. confirm my statement.

The problem is that there needs to be a critical mass created for
newsgroup activity to be high.

It's CodeGear's product and if they are interested, they must take the
initial steps towards creating a healthy community around the OTA.
After all they are the ones competing against Eclipse, NetBeans, VS.NET;
we are free to use any/all of those products.

And this is not a good think. Not only VS has an SDK but also all major java
IDEs (i.e Eclipse or NetBeans) are open platforms and often based on an
open, reusable and extensible framework.

Agreed.

I think the Delphi IDE is a godd IDE (for a while was IMHO the best IDE on
the market) but the lack of OTA documentation (and public features) is a
great limit.
