Agreed. IMO, the OTA community doesn't have to be that big (relative to
Delphi as a whole), it just needs to be big enough to provide stuff for
BDS that CodeGear doesn't have time/resources in doing.
Yes, but in order to have a critical mass the people must be encouraged to
write OTA code.
Agreed 100%.
I think many Delphi developer simple does't know the OTA existence. No
documentation, no focus, no "marketing". OTA is a sort of "magic thing" used
just by third party components vendors...
And for people like me (i use OTA for my products) is a pain because working
without the basic documentation is at least very improductive.
