Like the title says, does the Delphi 2007 win32 upgrade that has been
announced upgrade my existing BDS2006 Win32 personality? I paid way
too much for BDS2005 and spend what I considered very good money on
BDS2006 and am pleased the bugs have been fixed. Now with Vista
programming, I am hoping that this new upgrade is just that, an
upgrade to the current personality in BDS2006.

No, it is a separate version and will be able to coexist with 2006. It is
supposed to be binary compatible which means any 3rd party or custom
components/libraries you have in 2006 should directly install into Delphi
2007 as well.

Ok, will the next BDS upgrade include this personality in it? If so I think
I can wait another 3-4 months for that. Having paid all this money for
everything in BDS 2006 (twice, BDS2005 sucked), I will just upgrade that to
get the Vista support I need.

As a side note, I don't understand the logic in releasing yet another editor
when a majority of your Delphi customers have BDS. In my opinion, you would
have much less confusion with the upgrades. This should have just been an
"in place" upgrade and release the personalities as upgrades as they became
ready. And to be fair, I don't know how it is all glued together in BDS so
maybe this was not possible and still have the other personalities continue
to function.

So, when the next BDS comes out, will it continue to have Delphi, C++, C#
and Delphi .NET included?
