Sorry, but not happy with D2007

I've been playing with my shiny new D2007, and like it a lot. Or I did,
until I decided to actually try a new project.

From a fresh start, I selected New Project, VCL Forms Application. Then I
dropped a Button, an OpenDialog, and a RichEdit onto the form.

Switched to code view, and CLANG!! Two errors reported:

'Undeclared identifier TButton...'
'Undeclared identifier TRichEdit...'

Bloody good start, eh?

So I highlighted 'TButton' in the editor, and pressed F1. Up came a useful
Help page.... immediately followed by another window inviting me to joint
the Microsoft Customer Experience Improvement Program.

At the top it says "Help Improve the Visual Studio Family of Software".

Come on, CodeGear. Dear, oh dear!! Did your beta testers actually USE this
software?

Look, I'm really sorry to moan, CodeGear guys. I know you've worked all
hours to get this product out. But frankly I've spent what is for me a
substantial amount of money on this, and at the moment I'm really cheesed
off.

Or could it be just my installation? I'm running it on Vista, if that makes
a difference (it shouldn't, it's fully Vista compatible, right?).

Grumpily,

Thack
