What's the db access technology used by this tool!?

I have noticed this EMS tool "SQL Manager 2005 for SQL Server Lite" executes queries in lightening fast when compared to "Microsoft SQL Server Manager Management Studio" or with my own stupid ADO app.
A query that takes 3763 ms in MS is taking just 234 ms in this tool!!
I also liked it's features, but my point really is,
what is the db access technology they used for this tool? Any ideas?
Btw, when I tried to run this app through Depends utility,
I got this error:
---------------------------
Protection Error
---------------------------
Debugger detected - please close it down and restart!
Windows NT users: Please note that having the
WinIce/SoftIce service installed means that you are
running a debugger!
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
Thanks,
Sarah
