something because *our* government tacks on GST/PST. You *know* we have to
pay that on everything, and you pay it on everything else you buy here. Did
you check the calculation? I'm sure you'll find the $72 (IIRC) you are
complaining about does indeed work out to 6% GST + 8%PST of the purchase
price plus shipping (in CDN $).

Do you really expect every company in the world to keep track of every tax
charged by every, not only nation, but states and provinces, just so they
can warn you about that extra cost and calculate it for you? That, IMO, is a
complete waste of their time and for something that have zero control over.

If the product had actually been shipped from a Canadian office, you'd
*still* have to pay that tax.
