through it to order D7. Pretty sure it was during that process that I
realized that I actually did ended up in Kansas [or somewhere down
there] :-)
I'm repeating myself, here you go. I did the same years ago, when I got
my Delphi 5. I don't remember if I noticed where I actually ended up
placing the order, but what I remember is that it was a local delivery
not an international one and I didn't have to pay anything when I got
it. So, using shop.borland.ca back then really meant something.
I buy stuff online every few months or so. And when I finalize a order
online, I know that's exactly the price I agreed to pay is what I'll be
charged.
A quick pick recall: WinZip, DBISAM, glyphX, teechart, gnostice pdf,
madExcept, some games, TExtraDEvices, and other. The price I saw online
was the price I paid, converted to $CAN. I couldn't care less who was
paying actually the taxes, if the price included taxes or not, etc
