Windows doesn't cost thousands. With Delphi, there's more money spent,
more money lost if it doesn't activate.
I use a corporation based Windows which doesn't needs to be activated. And
in the case that it does, it will suffer the same faith than Delphi. I
cannot underatand why is it fashionable these days to use this kind of
activation? Must we complicate things more and more with every year that
goes? Things were easier in the past. Does a company needs to have so much
control over their legitimate users at any price? What is ethically correct
for them to do? Where is the limit? What if the trend next year is to yearly
send a picture of the user using the software just to control that the
software is used by one user? Yes, it sounds silly, but nothing amazes me
anymore these days.
