Without conducting a proper survey, the data you have will most likely
not be able to tell you if there's a potential for new customers if
you add/change some things, and how large that potential is. For that
you need to also people who don't shop at your store, including why
they don't shop.
CodeGear has almost certainly conducted a proper survey.
....one can blieve in that but the history of C++BuilderX proves that you
never
really know if your survey is "proper" or maybe not. The IT market is in
constant change and even if you managed to conduct your survey quite
well the results may not longer be relevent year or two later.
But, if we are talking about 64-bit native compilers, it stays on the very
top
of the list for a long time and since 64-bit computing isn't going to vanish
anytime soon IMHO I strongly believe that is the way to go for CodeGear.
