Re: Simon is impersonating me.

A mistake, IMHO. Teamb are not part of CodeGear customer service, nor

Thanks to everyone who responded to my post here!
It is now almost exactly 10 years since I started to participate in the
non-tech, about time to do something else it seems :)

Bob, your points are of course well put and academically correct.
However, you will not be able to convince me that CodeGear not is able
to:

- Close down a news group immediately the day they find this group to
hurt their business
- Remove the TeamB badge from anyone immediately, the day they find
that person is hurting their business

FTR, I am not that personal that Michael thinks (see another reply to
my post). I have on and off discussed this topic, also before one TeamB
member started to cancel my messages (about 5 years after I started to
post here). Before that, I had no posts cancelled whatsoever.
I am not at all talking about a single event here, a cancellation
there. I am talking about a regime, lasting for years now.

My concern has always been Delphi's success and future, and since I am
not alone, (I get mails from others expressing the same concern and
frustration), I have reason to believe that I talk on behalf of more
than myself.

To sum it up, and in my humble opinion:

- The community is CodeGear's backbone

- The way the groups are run and moderated will to me, at the end of
the day, always be CodeGear's total responsibility

- The fact that the off-topic is still listed and run by Borland /
CodeGear is to me a sign of indecisiveness, an indecisiveness one can
ask applies to other areas too. The off-topic is mainly the playground
for one TeamB member, and while certainly giving this person a lot of
fun, it can impossibly serve any business purpose. And besides of that,
I think a lot of people in CodeGear want it closed down, but for some
mysterious reason, some mysterious indecisiveness, it is not done.
