If you want the easiest way to do XPlatform, then Java is your choice. You can, of course, write XPlatform apps with other toolsets, but you might as well forget RAD and change it to could be BAD!!

This is a C++ cross-platform framework for Windows, MAC and Linux.
It has a nice RAD Form designer.
It pretty expensive at over $6000.00 for the top level for all 3 platforms.
But I've used the Windows only version for projects and if a client comes along that needs that app on Linux,
they will pay for me to purchase the Linux libraries.
So, it's expensive it you do it all at once, but it might not be so bad if a client is willing to fork over $4000+ for you
to purchase the needed libraries and enough for you to actually make a little profit.
