Nice coincident, I'm also looking for a desktop-replacer for
Delphi-programming, and I think it will be the HP nx9420 too. I'll go for
the RU480ET (NL) with 1440 x 900 WXGA+, because I think that resolution is
high enough (otherwise the pixels get really small?). My current desktop has
a BrightView monitor (Acer AL1951) and that's really nice; yes the colors
are more bright and yes, it acts like a mirror on black screens (so almost
never). It's really bright, I had to turn brightness way back. But I keep
this monitor when the notebook is docked (HP Basic Docking), and that's most
of the time. At work I have a normal TFT, but I like the BrightView better.
