This is completely untrue. They are perfectly fine and in fact look better
than non-glossy screens. They only may "act like a mirror" (and that's
being glib) when the thing is turned off!
The mirror effect is very annoying.especially in PDAs and Smartphones.It is
almost impossible to see anything on my HP iPAQ TFT screen outdoor in a
sunny day.
