Each release of Delphi, *the product*, costs some $millions when you count
the salaries and benefits of the entire Delphi team, management, and other
related corporate costs (building, communications, taxes, etc). It is
perfectly proper to charge a price that reflects the actual costs of
producing it and making a reasonable profit *based on those costs*, rather
than selling at any significantly lower price (and thus no per unit profit)
just for the altruistic goal of making it more affordable to some.
This is in no way relevant to CG using price differentiation by country.
The costs of selling an electronic version to a US customer is the same as
selling it to an EU customer. The only potential differentiator is the
exchange rate.
