No, it wouldn't matter to such a person.

Your assertion is that gasoline vendors look at the price of oil and
then price their gas accordingly? I say, no, they don't. I say they
raise their prices as high as they can regardless of the price of oil.

And why am I an ideologue because I stick to my position? YOu are
sticking to yours just as hard. Why aren't you the ideologue?
