Brilliant. Truly brilliant. I appreciate the
honesty; but really, what exactly *am* I supposed
to do with a broken help system with BDS2006? It's
been known that CG *isn't* going to fix that.
Am I going to be able to find information of BDS2006
in D7's help? No. So referring to D7's help may
help me with the general stuff, but it certainly
ain't going to help me with BDS2006-based issues.
Don't get me wrong. BDS2006 is nice. There are
a lot of stuff in BDS2006 that I wish was in
D7. Sure the interface needs some getting used
to, and I still am trying.
CG better get their stuff together and get
Highlander's help to the D7 standard. I can
assure you that you (CG) *will* not be able
to win users' favor with crappy help systems.
No matter how 'cool' the interface is and
how many 'cool' new features there are, it's
useless if users don't know how to use 'em.
Am I critical? Yes. Why? Because I want CG
to improve the IDE so that it betters the
competition. Otherwise, I wouldn't have
given a hoot.
Just my $0.02.
