Pretend you have a rubber stamp that says "PAID". Strip the rubber part off
of it and glue it to a rolling pin. Ink the stamp and roll it onto a ***
of paper. The image is now slightly elongated because it is stretched across
the roller so you have to make a new stamp to fix the problem. How much
should the image on the new stamp be compressed to compensate for the
distortion?
