Is there a webpage that offers an online newsreader similar to

I'm not familiar with google mail, so I'm not clear what you want. A
Newsreader is an app that reads NewsGroups, rather than web pages - at
least in my view. I stuck with Netscape for a long time before
searching for something better. I'm not sure I found it. Outlook
Express, much like Netscape, I think will read newsgroups. I have been
using XanaNews for a while now. And although it appears to be no
longer supported, and has some quirks, it seems to be popular. You
can try www.wilsonc.demon.co.uk which may get you to the site where
you can download it.
I think Thomas is not looking for a program, but instead for a
web-solution to read newsgroups. So when you're sitting in an Internet
cafe in a far far away country you can still use the newsgroups as if
you were at home.
But otherwise XanaNews is a nice solution :)
