Yes you are justified in moaning but only once until you
have put these problems in QC.
I assume you have the latest Update3 for Delphi 2007 which
fixed a whole host of bugs like this.
If you do and still have problems, please report anything
you can reproduce to QC because CodeGear are spending a lot
of time fixing bugs like this and want it to be much better.
I know they haven't been so hot in the past but things *are*
changing.

Well, what a nice day for packing it all in and taking up
gardening.
I've used Delphi for over 10 years, I'm using 2007 for
Win32 now, under RAD Studio. I don't do .NET, just Win 32.
I don't do Vista, just XP. I now think RAD means 'Rapid
Application Decline'.
When I lose a couple of hours work because the IDE just
bombs out because it didn't like something I typed, I
think...
And when the IDE slows right down after a few hours for no
apparent reason I restart Delphi and I think...
And when the project won't compile because it has DEBUG
and RELEASE defined (yes, I did open another project and
come back to the first one), I think...
And when I have a script set up in my 'SendTo' folder to
do a reliable DCC32 release build and launching it via the
File Browser stops working after a period of working
reliably, I restart the IDE and think...
And when something as basic as a DBCtrlGrid can't draw a
checkbox for multiple records and my customer thinks I'm a
tosser for not noticing the fact, I think...
And when I feel the need to sit here telling no-one in
particular about it, I think...
Have a nice weekend everyone :)
