Developers need to be pro-active and take some responsibility in finding
solutions/work arounds to their problems. If a developer isnt saving his
code more than once every couple of hours, thats on *their* head - buggy
IDE or not. Thats just basic common sense.
Agreed. As I said, in my case, i save every minute or so. But I postulate
that a crash with one minute of lost code still costs you 10-20 minutes in
lost productivity, and it is just plain annoying. When you work for
yourself it is money out of your pocket.
I'm not saying that CodeGear shouldnt back their product, just that no-one
likes a whiner.
Toughen up. Sometimes there will be people who say things you don't like to
hear.
