IMO, Vista is much more organized than XP or 2000. I actually like the new
menu layout and groupings.

What frustrated you in XP that you now have a solution, benefit for ?

Constantly having to set/reset the taskbar to ontop so the tool tips show up
in front of it instead of behind it. Aggravated the p?ss out of me...

Were the benefits you received worth over 5 years effort of a huge team
at Microsoft ?

I think so.


but lets not forget the vast majority of early adopters want the latest
and greatest.

At the expense of usability ?

Nothing unusable about it.

Like removing menus in Explorer, Internet Explorer ? I was like *really*
waiting for getting
my menus removed (and yes I know I can press Alt)

So right click and check the MenuBar option. Sheesh...


They could have delivered something that looked different but had a better
usability.

They did deliver something like that. You just don't like it. :-)
