I've burned and tried the live CD on 3 differents PC at work, and it didn't work. Worse : on my big one (4Gb, 2 Nvidia SLI cards and so on) when booting there's a hardware detection which makes it quit while booting.
I tried to force the install at home (i had the previous ubuntu version) :
Because I had installed both KDE and Gnome, this raised a problem and Gnome don't start at all, whatever I try, so I've given up, and stay with KDE, where almost everything I had installed don't work anymore because it was made for Gnome. That is not a problem to me, but it really annoys my wife, who does just say one thing : "before it worked, now it's broken : how about going back to Windows ?"
....
what should I say ?
