I could not agree more 600EUR with one year SA (more or less $450 or £300) is not a lot of money if it only saves me 2 days of programming (and this is an extreme example) then it is well worth it.
I actually phoned Kees and he was very helpful.
And as you said, you probably sell less of their products than you average tDbEdit in a package :)

If it solves all the problems Didier outlines, it is in fact cheap. This kind of product is not the same as the typical database component, which may sell in much higher volumes and can justify a lower price.
